    Unanswered: how to flush a query from the statment cache in Z/Os

    running dynamic statement cache in db2 v9 Z/Os... how do you flush a query or all statements out of the cache.. haven't found any relevant statements in the sql reference.

    The query(ies) are already in the statement cache.. I want to get rid of them..


    I don't think ODBC parms will affect whats in the cache

    ok, one way I found in Z/Os.. set the CACHEDYN zparm to NO compile and
    then issue a SET SYSPARM command to load it... clears the whole cache..

    It's a BFI method but gets the job done..

    any less obtrusive ways for a particular statement?

    the change in zparm which I thought worked , didn't
