    Unanswered: db2 connection

    hello everyone!

    I am a beginner at Eclipse and DB2 .I have db2 express c edition windows .I am making a project and need to connect to DB2 database using my eclipse project.I tried importing package COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.* but cant find it there in Eclipse .If any of you have used Eclipse to connect and manipulate db2 database please guide me with how to import correct package and the connection string .

    goto support page of db2 udb and download the java drivers
    copy them to a specific location and read this doc

    thank you sir.My connection worked.

    But I have a new doubt to ask.I am new to DB2 and I want to insert data into DB2 database using my Java Program in which I have a GUI asking for name and roll no.
    Please tell me how should I put the insert statement in my Java program :

    insert into student values(textbox1.text,textbox2.text);
