    Exclamation Unanswered: sending email

    Hie is there a script or how can i send email using oracle 8i or 9i database so that i can get warnings from my database. if there is a script can i have it for both on plartform windows and unix/linux. my email is bmahanzu2009@gmail.com

    Cool Em

    For version 9i you can configure db notifications using the EM Console.
    For version 8i you would need to code OS scripts (batch for WinDoze and KSH for Unix) to monitor your db.

    The first action for Oracle 8 and 9 should be to upgrade to a recent (= supported) version of Oracle.
