Unanswered: figuring out application id status_change_time

so if I have a application id of: 10.200.12.237.37843.09120715021

I am parsing this out as IP.port.timestamp_of_connection

    1) is this correct?

taking the timestamp_of_connection, I am assuming: YYMMDDHHMMS

    2) is this correct?

that would mean, in this example, that the connection time is 2009-12-07-15.02.01

but the system time is: Mon Dec 7 12:12:10 CST 2009

    this doesn't make any sense...

    what am I missing?

What time zone are you in? I believe the time stamp is UTC.

The server is in Central Time (USA:Nebraska)....

UTC would bring the time to 2009-12-07-08.02.01 CST, which sounds reasonable...

Can we confirm this? BTW, I thought DB2 went off of system time?
