theres two ways of connecting to multiple tables in a single select query
    use a WHERE clause
    or use a JOIN Clause

of the two the JOIN clause is the more modern and probably should be used in preference to the older where clause

    eg
    where mytable1.thiscolumn = mytable2.thatcolumn

    join mytable2 on mytable2.thatcolumn = mytable1.thiscolumn

the precise syntax of the join depends on the type of join and the type of db engine you are using

if you define the relationships between tables you will find that when using the query designer Access helpfully creates the right join syntax for you. you ay need to tweak the join by right clicking the relationship in the query designer to refine it.
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
