    Unanswered: Moving tables between databases?

I have two SQL Server 2005 databases in one of my webhost accounts and I would like to move one of the tables from the first database into the second database. How would I do this? I am using MSSS2005 Express. Thanks.

You can use BCP to export the data from one database, and import it into the other. You will naturally want to create the table in the new database before you do that. If you have SQL Server Management Studio for Express, you may be able to right click on the database, and export the table that way. I sometimes have problems with how it defines the table in the destination, but for SQL Server to SQL Server transfers, it should be relatively OK. It will not likely transfer indexes, or primary key constraints, though.

Awesome. I'll give that a try. What is BCP?
