    Unanswered: SQL 2005 sa pass

I installed SQL 2005 yesterday. Now I'm trying to connect to my local server. It's asking for user and pass. I want to log in as sa.. but it seems the default password is no null. I can't log in to my own local server I'm confused.

I even tried connecting using windows auth but still nothing.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

“If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.

The sa password is declared at installation time. But the default security mode is Windows Authentication only. Are you a member of the local admins group in Windows?
