    Unanswered: Conecting SQL server from PowerBuilder

    Hi

    My powerbuilder program is connecting SQL server through ODBC as shown below:

    SQLCA.DBPARM = "ConnectString='DSN=" + ls_db_name + ";UID=dba;PWD=sql'"

    CONNECT ;
    Is it necessary to supply userid and password?
    is there some alternative ?

    Thanks and regards
    Gyan

    What version of PB and SQL server are you using?

    I have problems getting the tables in the list with available tables. I can only see system tables.
    With kind regards . . . . . SQL Server 2000/2005/2012
