    Unanswered: need help to connect db2

    hi
    i am very new to IBM tools
    after wasting many hours , i got to know how to create a server using eclipse and websphere application server community edition

    but now my problem is how to use and query the db2 using jsp files of eclipse
    i am using db2 9.7 express-c

    please help me this is very important to me

    i needed sample code to implement the connectivity between jsp on eclipse with db2 9.7c

    ****ANOTHER QUESTION****
    1.do we need to install any drivers to access the databases on db2 using eclipse?
    2.how can we browse the databases of db2 in eclipse IDE?

    That is usually done by the connection pool provided with your application server. Check the manual of the app server

    Of course you'll need the JDBC driver

    my question is from i need to download the jdbc driver
    and am very new in this, i dont know anything about these ibm tools, please give me some links which have step by step information to learn things faster, i just need to know how we create db and create connection to db from jsp, query db within jsp and all other basic functions

    how about reading some docs :
    CREATE DATABASE
    at the same location check for jsp and other needed info
