Red face Unanswered: Problem make SELECT in a transaction

    Hi All

Inside a transaction I insert a larg amount or records to tables.
Then, without commit I want to make a quite complex query using some tables including the tbale with the new records.
When I do so, it take very very long time (I actually stoped it after 30 minuts).
If I commit the transaction after the insert, the query give results fast,
But I want to do it in the transaction before commit.

    Can somebody advise me?
    Thanks

Why not do the complex query before you start the transaction?

If you execute the SELECT after commiting the transaction, your new records will be there.
