Our company has a customer database and some of the fields have the Smart Tags enabled, which will allow the user to quickly schedule a meeting or add a name to their Outlook contacts.
Is there any way to send more information than just what's in the Smart Tag field? Our form has the name, address, email, phone etc. Can I send all those items to Outlook and have it populate the fields of a new contact record?
Adding contact and sending email in access 2007 using outlook
Naturally, despite my previous searches, I find the answer just after posting the question.
I found coding guidance to create a button that would create an outlook task, to-do or appointment and it works great. Below is the starter link for whomever might like it, though I added considerably more fields and outlook data-types than this example.
