    Unanswered: upgrading db2 v8 FP17 ESE to v9

    We need to upgrade our DB2 v8 Enterprise Edition. Somehow, we only purchased DB2 v9 Workgroup.

    I am wondering if we really need Enterprise Edition.

    I don't think we're using Table Partitioning:

    CREATE REGULAR TABLESPACE TS001 IN DATABASE PARTITION GROUP IBMDEFAULTGROUP PAGESIZE 4096 MANAGED BY SYSTEM
    USING ('E:\DB2\NODE0000\SQL00006\TS001')
    EXTENTSIZE 32
    PREFETCHSIZE 32
    BUFFERPOOL IBMDEFAULTBP
    OVERHEAD 10.500000
    TRANSFERRATE 0.140000
    FILE SYSTEM CACHING
    DROPPED TABLE RECOVERY ON;

    and

    ALTER TABLESPACE USERSPACE1
    PREFETCHSIZE AUTOMATIC
    OVERHEAD 12.670000
    TRANSFERRATE 0.180000;

    CREATE TABLE "PROD "."EVENT" (
    "ID" INTEGER NOT NULL ,
    "NAME" VARCHAR(50) NOT NULL )
    IN "USERSPACE1" ;

    We're not doing Materialized Query Tables or Query Parallelism or Multi dimensional Clustering Tables.

    I think I am confusing table partitioning with table spaces...
