    Unanswered: Default Cursor Placement on Form

    I am just having one of those days today...I know it's probably a really simple solution, but when my form opens, the cursor is in the sub-form. I need to have the cursor default to the combo box on the main form when it opens. Help? (or link to where I can find the instructions?)

    Thanks

    Check the Tab Order of the controls on your form, make sure the combo box is set to be first. HTH!

    Cheers!

    In the main form
    Code:
    Private Sub Form_Load()
     YourComboboxName.SetFocus
    End Sub
    replacing YourComboboxName with the actual name.
    Hope this helps!

    nckdryr - Tab Order did not apply in this case, that was the first place I had looked

    Missinglinq - Thanks! That was exactly what I was looking for. I found that code elsewhere when researching, but was to braindead to realize that was what I needed, LOL. TGIF!
