    Unanswered: Collections issue

    I have a collection defined as below-

    TYPE C_TYPE AS OBJECT
    (clnt_c VARCHAR2(10),
    clnt_did NUMBER);

    CREATE OR REPLACE
    TYPE c_list As table of C_TYPE ;

    And a function in which the above collection is passed as a parameter

    FUNCTION f1(cpc_tab c_list) RETURN VARCHAR2 IS
    begin
    pla pla pla
    end;

    the question is :
    after I fill the table of C_TYPE and send it to the function, IS it necessary for Flash the table or delete the rows inside it (for performance issue) ?

    thanx in advance

    Well, the table will consume memory until the data is deleted or until the program that created it ends, so if it is big and will contiue to exist for some time after it is no longer useful then deleting the data from it makes sense.
