Unanswered: Importing csv file into access

I need to import a csv file into access, but it has the first row explaining the file. I need to import the data from row 2, which are the column headings. Please help me do this.

When you use the Import Wizard there is a check box to let it know you have a Header record. If you check it, it will use the Header Record for the field names.

Even if you choose to use Docmd.TransferText the fifth parameter is HasFieldNames which when set to True uses the Header Record during import.

Having a header record is quite normal and easily accomodated with Access.
