Arrow Unanswered: java get/set monitor switches

    Hello All,

I'm a DB2 newbie trying to write a litle java program.

But i must get and set some monitor switches before doing some things.

I have seen that C API has support for doing this, but i was unable to find it in java, somebody has at least a clue ?

    Regards,

Try using the ADMIN_CMD stored procedure:

IBM DB2 9.5 Information Center for Linux, UNIX, and Windows

Thank you very much for your response ARWinner.
But i guess this is only for V9.5.
    I am administering V7.X, 8.x and 9.x

So, im wondering to execute a cmd file inside command window / shell (using windows and unix)

Let me know if you know other method.

    Thanks so much !

The only other way would be to use JNDI. You will have to research that on your own.

Ok, but JNDI sounds more accurated to work with ldap, on so on.

I will register myself in a java community and will ask about to embed C code inside Java Platform.

With C API its all possible .

Well, thanks for all your hel.
    Regards
