Unanswered: Adding conditions in XML to Oracle Data Transfer.

    Hi All,

I'm a newbie to this forum, so I hope u wont mind silly questions.
I have extracted data from a table using the XML parser available in Oracle. Now I have to insert the data back in another Oracle database. That is fine by me. But I have to do a few validations before inserting into it. Like based on the records in the table I'm gonna insert, I have to change the fields and do it..

    How do I do that??

I suggest it would be easier to start with original tables, forget about XML and just use DB_LINK into another Oracle database.
