    Unanswered: Access issue

    ODBC--Call Failed.

    [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] The column prefix 'name' does not match with a table name or alias name used in the query. (#107)

    This is the error message i get while linking tables... any idea what needs to be done

    Did you call a fieldname in your table just: Name instead of something like: FullName or FirstName or LastName? Check that you're not using any reserved words for your field/table naming scheme. Using reserved names as your fieldnames such as name, date, field, table, etc... are killers for coding/linking (and just about anything else you want to do.)
