Unanswered: Limit ability to view records in a table

I have a table that contains over 300 records. Each record has an owner assigned to it and I only want the owner to be able to see and update his records in the main table. Is there a way to do this in access or is the best way to pull the records out of the main table allow them to update and then update the master table when they are complete with there updates.

it depends on whether the 'owner' ID is in the record itself.

if there is indeed an ID field in each record that identifies the owner then it is quite simple - use a query and have the criteria dynamically set to the owner's id.

without that owner ID field there is no way for the database to know who the owner is...
