What flavor of DB2 (Workgroup, Enterprise, Express-C) are you using?

    What OS?

    What is the DBM config"

    What is the DB config?

How much memory (RAM) does the server have?

Is it 32 or 64 bit?

Original post was over 4 years ago by a different username. DB2 version and type was not supplied. We are not psychic, so you need to give more information, especially if you add a problem to a very old existing post.

Apologies, i ws googling and found this so just reply yes its my mistake.

Nothing this warning msg we get in diag log, there is no harm to db (no harm i mean no impact as user are not facing issue so far), But want to avoid as we are get alerts related to failure word. Need to now only abt the error.

its agent which using sort heap which is getting out of memery failure. Please correct me on this.

As its Out of memry for Sort heap failure. STMM is off

Sort heap thres for shared sorts (4KB) (SHEAPTHRES_SHR) = 128000
    Sort list heap (4KB) (SORTHEAP) = 8192
Index sort flag (INDEXSORT) = YES

    Sort (DFT_MON_SORT) = ON
    Sort heap threshold (4KB) (SHEAPTHRES) = 128000

    /opt/IBM/db2/V9.7FP6

Again apologies for the way i asked this query.

Then you should open a new thread and ask your question there. You should get more replies off a new thread.
