    Question Unanswered: Converting to mysql

    Hi, I have a informix database (sql queries) and I want to import it to mySQL.
    But I get some error on this line

    Code:
    INSERT INTO student(jmbag, ime, prezime, jmbg, spol, datrod, pbrrod, pbrstan)
      VALUES('0555000011', 'Kresimir', 'Salopek', '0101980554687', 'M', EXTEND(MDY(1,1,1980), YEAR to SECOND), NULL, NULL);
    I don't understand what this part means and how to write it so that it's compatible with mySQL

    Code:
    EXTEND(MDY(1,1,1980), YEAR to SECOND)
    any help would be appreciated
    thanks

    you can simply write '1980-01-01' instead
