    Unanswered: runtime error '6' overflow

i have front end vb exe and sql 2000 database, the problem is when i connect to my old database(comp_accounts),which is 15 days older, the programm doesnot gave any error, but when i attach the the updated database (comp_accounts) it gave runtime error '6' overflow. i think there is no problem in vb exe becuse it runninf fine with 25 days old database. Please help me fix the error in sql 2000 database. thanks to all community

    Check your data numeric types.

Can you check your numeric data types? It is an overflow of the capacity of a variable of a data type, thus - the problem is in vb. (edited) Do you have the source code for the app? What is done after the login process? Are you hitting the db for anything? What do you assign to what?
