    How much are you paying for someone to do your homework for you?

    Or do you mean you'd like assistance? If that's the case then you'll have to do most of the work and then ask specific questions you are having trouble working out and we can help you with that.

    Have you tried CREATE DATABASE USING NETBEANS;

    Just kidding.

    Netbeans is an IDE for software developers. Before you get this working you will need to look at creating a database. This can be done at the MySQL prompt or PHPMyAdmin. Afterwards you will need to have your application connect to your database server and your selected database. Checkout my.cnf.

    Thanks for that.. I need to create a competition web page that connects to a new database for the competition entry fields. I have created a DB using MySQL and Tomcat for my final year project but it was not a LIVE site... The server we are using now is a Linux one. I would like to now what steps I need to follow to set this up.

    Thanks
