Unanswered: MS Access: reconsiliation form to modify table field while

Hello please help. I need a form that will ask the user what table field they want to change (ie tax rate changed from 13% to 11%) and the tax rate changes from time to time. so I need a form that will change the tax rate in a table. At the same time I need a record for the change to be recorded in another separate table with a time stamp and comments area. Please help

Well, I think you would normally present the user with a form bound to that table to let them change the value. The second sounds like you want audit functionality. Look up audit trail and see if that's what you're looking for.

None that come immediately to mind, but certainly post back if you get stuck. I usually have a "maintenance" area with forms bound to tables like rates. That let's the users maintain these things.

Welcome to the site by the way!
