    no equivalent concept in mysql

i'm afraid you will have to try a different approach to whatever it is you're trying to do (which you neglected to mention)

I have composite primary key with multiple datatype formats. In this case mysql will not allow me to auto increment for 2 columns in the table.

Please let me know as to what would be the best approach to fix this

since you have a composite primary key with multiple datatype formats, you have no need for an auto_increment
