    Unanswered: web.showdocument

    Hi,

I don't know if there's a solution to my problem.
I have a word 2007 documents on a web server and i want to open it. So I use the command web.show_document('My_URL', '_BLANK') but I'm getting a pop up asking if I want to download the document and the document have the .zip extension. I don't know what's going on.

    Please help me.

    Thanks in advance

No where in problem statement is Oracle mentioned & I doubt anything involving Oracle RDBMS is part of the solution.

So EXACTLY why is this posted to a DATABASE forum????

Well, as of Oracle, WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT is usually used in Forms 10g to display a result of a report (while earlier versions, such as 6i, used RUN_REPORT_OBJECT). Now, I wouldn't know where Eric's Word 2007 documents come in touch with Oracle, nor - unfortunately - I know solution of his problems.
