    Unanswered: Info on file.MSX2

    I am looking for information on file with extension MSX2. Is there a viewer for such type of files? Such file consists of queries among others. Please help !

    Any ideas what program created the file in the first place?

    I'm sure its Microsoft SQL server file. Just don't know how to view its content. When opened with Excel, there are lost of ASCII codes and MS SQL Queries. Thanks.

    On a SQL Server, you can run
    Code:
    sp_attach_single_file_db dbname, 'path to the file'
    This will make changes to the file, so you should make a copy first. If nothing else, it will tell you if it was from a SQL Server or not.
