    Unanswered: Keeping track of Quantity

    Hello,

    Please take a look at my attachment.

    I am trying to create a simple form to keep track of some inventory.

    My problem is keeping track of Quantity.
    I want to be able to have a text field in the Form that will add then update the quantity.

    For example if I had Part Name = Keyboards Quantity = 5. Then on the next record I've added 2 more with using a Text Field, then I want the next record in the tblQuantity to say 7 keyboards. I do not want to UPDATE the record.

    I am looking for something like,

    Dim intQuantity As Integer
    txtQuantity.Value = intQuantity
    Me.quantity.Value = me.quantity.Value + intQuantity

    DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec

    My problem is getting the Quantity value from Previous record, then manipulating it, then assigning it to the new record. Any help will be appreciated Thanks.
