    Unanswered: XSL to convert xml to oracle canonical format xml

    Hi,

    I want to convert the xml file that I have to the oracle canonical format.
    Due to compliance reasons I can't post the xml file here.

    Can someone please share the xsl generic format for the canonical form.
    Also how can I proceed for the xml file that i have.

    Regards,
    Sudhir

    Hey Shammat,

    Thanks for the reply.

    The Oracle canonical format is like:

    <ROWSET>
    <ROW>
    <column_name_1 />
    .
    .
    </ROW>
    <ROW>
    <column_name_1 />
    .
    .
    </ROW>
    .
    .
    </ROWSET>

    ROW is used for the table names
    ROWSET is used for the XML document

    Am I thinking anything stupid. I am getting that feeling..

    Regards,
    Sudhir

    OK, I didn't know that one.

    But I still wonder how we are supposed to give you an XSLT that converts an unkown XML format to something different.

    That's like asking us to translate a text that we don't see into English
