Exclamation Unanswered: My SQL Server Question

Hey guys, I've recently scoured the internet looking for information about DBA requirements. I am currently pursuing a BS in Information Systems (with a focus on db) at a university with a minor in Business Admin. Does anyone think this is a wise choice for entering the IT field it a decent job as DBA? What would be my best bet?

    Thanks!

Just want to clarify - are you asking about MySQL (one product) or SQL Server (totally different product)?

I think it's tough to start out as a DBA. Most people do some coding before getting into DBA work imo.

if you want to become a need to study first na t-sql, and choose what DB Software are you going go us with, and read some article about it...but before you study the t-sql, normalization and denormalization comes first..
