Question Unanswered: Select Text after Special Character

I am not very good with Access as of yet. I have created a few entry forms, a search form, etc. but am definitely no expert. I am in need of a little assistance.

I currently have a form with just two fields (contact and reason). The purpose of this is to limit the amount of information a user must enter. What I would like is for them to enter something such as: Mike @company needs access to #website.

Then hidden fields in the database would pull info from that reason field and put it in two other columns. So @company would be used to put the company name in its field and #website would be used to put the product in it the product field.

I am assuming I can use the Instr to locate the specific symbol. But how do I select the text after it, especially with it being different sizes of text. It may not be just 4 characters each time, it may be 10.

It it possible to use VB code to do this?

Thank you so much in advance and I apologize for my lack of experience.

Am on the right path with:

    Right([ContactReason],InStr([ContactReason],"@")+1)

It does not select what I expected. I only want the first word after @.
