    Unanswered: CREATE TOOLS CATALOG (Hitting SQL30082N "PASSWORD MISSING")

    Good day guys,

    Currently I am going to enable the Scheduler function in db2 by creating the tools catalog with command as below

    CREATE TOOLS CATALOG <schema_name>USE EXISTING DATABASE <db_name>

    It is working fine in my local PC but I am hitting below error in my Production DB server.

    SQL30082N Security processing failed with reason "3" ("PASSWORD MISSING").
    SQLSTATE=08001

    I have tried few method including append "user <db_user> using <db_password>" follow by the command but still not able to fix it.

    According to the manual, you can only run this command against a local database.

    Thanks n_i for the infor. Anyway I have log in to that DB server which suppose the database should act as local DB. But still hitting the same issue ...... Any idea/suggestion to overcome this issue?
