Unanswered: Enabling DAO 3.6 through vba code - possible?

    Hello,

Is enabling the "Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library" reference through VBA possible? If so, how is it done?

I'm done it manually hundreds of time (through tools>references) but it would make my life easier if I could just include it in my code...

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, but I confess I would need to look it up to remember exactly how since it is fairly involved (especially to make it robust).

Izy Rider had some code to do this I am sure.

If you are a competent programmer, you need to look at the references collection of the Access application object - you should be able to find what you need from there.
