    Unanswered: when the table has dropped

    Dear All,

    How to find out when the tables has dropped in sql server 2008 database.

    Only if you were pro actively monitoring for such an event.
    Otherwise you could restore your backups. Depending on how frequently you took Log backups you could get a rough idea of when.
    Finally, if the log has not been cleared since then there are log reading tools but I have no experience of them.

    Going forward, you can set up a database trigger to fire on the DROP TABLE event that populates a table with the pertinent information.

    Event notification would be less intrussive, unless you want to prevent the DROP.
