Unanswered: Sum on a Calculated Field - Access

Hi there, am wondering if there is a way to SUM a calculated field that is in a sub-group. First group is Location / Second group is Encounter Type.
Field = [Total_Hrs_Sum]/[Enctrs_Count]. This gives me a number. Now, I need a sum of this field. Am not sure if this can be done as I get error messages when I try to run the report.

Hopefully someone will have a suggestion for me.

Thank you VERY MUCH for your help.

tricky best to just get all the fields in the query/record source in the first place.

try this; duplicate your text box in the Group'sHeader section and set its Running Sum to Over Group. This will create a running sum of the values in the section of that unbound calculated field.

not sure if this will work....

=Sum([Total_Hrs_Sum]/[Enctrs_Count]) should work. I am assuming you are putting this in a report right? If so, where are you putting the sum? In the report Footer? Also, what is the error you are getting?
