    Unanswered: comparing schema in db2

    Dear All,

    I am new to db2 ..and i want to compare 2 schema's like objects there in x schema not there in y schema and object datatype there x schema different in y schema ...can someone provide me the sql .how to do it ?

    Use the catalog tables (syscat).

    What exactly is the problem you're facing? You just have to join a couple catalog tables and apply the predicates.

    Hi,

    have a look at the Aqua DataStudio. This Tool has a utilty to compare Schemas in a database:
    Database query tool - Aqua Data Studio is the query analyzer that works with Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MySQL and more.
