I have installed the Oracle 11G on the Linux (Virtual Server) and I am getting the following error when I try to open dbca.

    # Problematic frame:

    #
    # An error report file with more information is saved as hs_err_pid4693.log
    #
    # If you would like to submit a bug report, please visit:

Detailed error log file is attached.

Please help me out with this problem as I am very new to Oracle.

    Mike.

You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

    Mark, Thank you.

anacednt, Do you think I would post a question without searching in google?. What I found in google did not applied to problem and/or the Oracle version I have. I am a SQL Server and DB2 DBA google is my life.

I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
