Question Unanswered: Warining Message during Backup - what is CA BUILT?

    Hi,

We have db2 on aix and sending backups to TSM, last night I did notice that the backup got interrupted due to another backup coming in -
    the message we got-

FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, Connection Manager, sqleUCappImpConnect, probe:150
    MESSAGE : ZRC=0x8037006D=-2143879059=SQLJR_CABLT "CA BUILT"

    1. What is CA BUILT? is related to DB2, to communications, to SQL, to TSM, to the API of TSM?

    2. and why instead of sending the typical:
SQL2033N An error occurred while accessing TSM during the processing of a
database utility. TSM reason code: "12".

    we got:

FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, Connection Manager, sqleUCappImpConnect, probe:150
    MESSAGE : ZRC=0x8037006D=-2143879059=SQLJR_CABLT "CA BUILT"

Thanks for your support - in advance thanks for all your comments they will be appreciated!

sqleUCappImpConnect will try to establish an implicit database connection. Not sure what 'CA BUILT' indicates. You can check the meaning of the ZRC code using:

    $ whatisrc 0x8037006D

Input ZRC string '0x8037006D' parsed as 0x8037006D (-2143879059).

ZRC value to map: 0x8037006D (-2143879059)

    ZRC class :
SQL Error, User Error,... (Class Index: 0)
    Component:
SQLJR ; DRDA Application Requester (Component Index: 55)
    Reason Code:
    109 (0x006D)

    Identifer:
    SQLJR_CABLT
    Identifer (without component):
    SQLZ_RC_CA_BUILT

    Description:
    CA BUILT

    Associated information:
    Sqlcode -902
SQL0902C A system error (reason code = "") occurred. Subsequent SQL
    statements cannot be processed.

Number of sqlca tokens : 0
    Diaglog message number: 1

This is where ' SQLJR_CABLT "CA BUILT" ' is coming from.

Are there any errors logged in the db2diag.log at around the same time? Is DB2DBDFT registry variable set (db2set -all)?

    sqlcaid : SQLCA sqlcabc: 136 sqlcode: -1060 sqlerrml: 8

    ca =communication area
sqlcode: -1060 : no connect authority
if DB2DBDFT you can set it with db2set
    all is in the book...
