    Unanswered: DB2EVML_DB2DETAILDEA entry after upgrade

Recently our company upgraded from DB2 LUW 9.1.2 to LUW 9.1.8. Since then there are entries like DB2EVML_DB2DETAILDEA when we execute
    select appl_name from sysibmadm.snapappl_info where lcase(appl_name) like '%db%'

These entries appear not only with the server name but also with user machine names.

What can we do to stop them?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ferdinand

    Take a look at:
DB2 Database for Linux, UNIX, and Windows

DB2EVML_DB2DETAILDEA seems to be for a db2detaildeadlock event monitor which is created by default. I think you need to stop this event monitor (set state to 0) or drop it (if it's not needed) if you don't want to see DB2EVML_DB2DETAILDEA in the snapshot output.

    Thank you, db2girl.

I was able to disable the event monitor doing the following:

    SELECT * FROM SYSCAT.EVENTS
    DB2DETAILDEADLOCK appeared.

    CONNECT TO table_name USER user_name

SET EVENT MONITOR DB2DETAILDEADLOCK STATE 0

    DROP EVENT MONITOR DB2DETAILDEADLOCK

    CONNECT RESET

    SELECT * FROM SYSCAT.EVENTS

    DB2DETAILDEADLOCK disappeared.
