    Unanswered: How to reintroduce diskgroup(+DATA) in ASM without recreating Diskgroup

    Hi I am running my standalone database(10.2.0.4) configured with ASM. I have two diskgroups in ASM (+DATA and FRA).

    I can see my both Diskgroups (+DATA and FRA) from ASMLIB and from ASM Instance I can just see (FRA), I can not see (+DATA).

    Is there any way to get +DATA with out recreating the diskgroup.

    Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

    Is your +DATA diskgroup mounted ?

    If not, you can do it with

    Code:
    alter diskgroup DATA mount;
    If you want it to be mounted automatically, check the ASM_DISKGROUP parameter of ASM init.ora file and add the diskgroup there.
