Unanswered: XML - IIS SQL Server 2008 support ?

With SQL Server 2000, we were using the built in IIS-XML support to run HTTP queries to our SQL Server by setting up XML documents that mapped to stored procedures.
The SQL Server programs menu had a "Configure SQL XML Support in IIS" option which brought up a "IIS Virtual Directory Management for SQL Server" window to configure the database mappings and whatnot.
We are needing to upgrade to SQL Server 2008, and I can't find similar options there. Can someone point me to some documentation or a starting point to do something similar with 2K8?

    Thanks!

2005 and up use HTTP endpoints which you can connect to. SQLXML via IIS support is dropped in 2k5.
