Unanswered: DB2 database and the display of asian languages

The Great Outdoors sample/training database as of my setup does not display
asian, russian, indian languages information (only strings of small squares)
correctly. This IBM sample/training database mix western languages information
with other languages and only row, colums with western language info displays
    correctly.
How can I change this ? I am using DB2 Express C on Windows7 Enterprise.

The Database has to be created with the right code set. You can check this with
select * from sysibmadm.DBCFG where name like 'code%'

Unfortunately you cannot change the code set of a database. You have to recreate the database.

It can also be an issue with the Client-Tools.
