    Unanswered: Connecting to oracle using eclipse

    i'm using Oracle SQL Developer( and eclipse Helios to create a JDBC connection. After i had added into java project folder, the following step is to set the CLASSPATH environment. Can anyone tells my where can i find my classpath? how to set it?

    This is basically an Eclipse/Java question, so you should ask this in an Eclipse forum.

    Btw: changing the CLASSPATH environment variable is a bad idea.
    Simply use the project definition in Eclipse to add the jar file is a very outdated version of the Oracle JDBC driver (intended to be used with Java 1.2)

    You should download the current driver from Oracle's website
