    Unanswered: oracle 11g sql * plus login error :: TNS-12541: TNS:no listener

    Hi,

    I am getting the error : TNS-12541: TNS:no listener when logging to sql plus in oracle 11g.

    PFA the entry for tnsping orcl and ping <hostname>

    Are you sure that your listener is up and running? Try using the command "lsnrctl status" on your server. This will determine whether it is up and running.
