    Unanswered: More than 255 characters in memo field

    I have a 2007 Access db, and a field type memo. I can not type more than 255 characters in this field.

    Need a solution please.

    In a form or directly into the table?

    It happens in both form and table, I can not add more than 255 chr.

    Something strange is going on as you already knew. Have you tried a Compact and Repair? How about Importing your db into a new db and see if the problem follows.

    No I did not do Compact and Repair.

    Do a C&R and see if you still have the problem. OfficeButton>Manage...
    Your Zip file shows empty for me.

    Remove the @ from the Format property of the control that displays the Memo field and try it.
