    Unanswered: Determining a streak

    Good morning,

I am using Access 2007 and I am trying to determine the longest winning streak each person has.

I have a table with the following columns: game number (each game number is unique to the 2 players in the game), date, outcome (-1 = loose, 0 = tie, and 1 = win). There is an entry into the table for each player for each game. I am trying to determine the longest winning streak for each player.

I have a work around solution in Excel right now that counts the number of games and sums the outcome column, but it is a very manual process. What would be the best approach to accomplish this task in Access?

    Thanks
    Drew

I would probably loop through a recordset and count the number of items in a streak until you find the longest streak.

Is that something you want to try?
