    Unanswered: Cascading Combo boxes based on school name

    Hello I am trying to cascade 6 combo boxes. and its not working, there is someting I'm missing not sure what. What I am tryign to do is when the user pulls up a school from the drop down, all the information pertaining to that school is suppose to show up also. But that doesnt seem to be working. This is on an Access 2007 Database. the properties for the school combo box is . The Error message says "Method or Data Member not found" and its highlighting the "Private Sub School_Name_AfterUpdate()"

    column width - 0";2";5.0299";0";0";0"

    column count - 5

    Record Source - SELECT DISTINCT SchoolInfID, school, str_addr, str_city, str_st, str_zip, cds_code FROM SchoolInfoSD_view WHERE (school IS NOT NULL) ORDER BY school.

    is there something I am doing wrong???

    Private Sub School_Name_AfterUpdate()

    Me.str_addr = Me.School_Name.Column(2)
    Me.str_addr.SetFocus
    Me.str_addr.Dropdown
    Me.str_city = Me.School_Name.Column(3)
    Me.str_city.SetFocus
    Me.str_city.Dropdown
    Me.str_st = Me.School_Name.Column(4)
    Me.str_st.SetFocus
    Me.str_st.Dropdown
    Me.str_zip = Me.School_Name.Column(5)
    Me.str_zip.SetFocus
    Me.str_zip.Dropdown
    Me.cds_code = Me.School_Name.Column(6)
    Me.cds_code.SetFocus
    Me.cds_code.Dropdown

    Me.School_Name.SetFocus

    End Sub

    If the combo has five columns, they are numbered Column(0) to Column(4).

    thank you so much it works, the only problem is that when you look at the table all you see is the SchoolInfID you dont see the name of the school. Here is what I have in the combo properties. Everything is schronizing its just that the school name isnt showing in the table

    Row Source - SELECT DISTINCT SchoolInfID, school, str_addr, str_city, str_st, str_zip, cds_code FROM SchoolInfoSD_view WHERE (school IS NOT NULL) ORDER BY school

    Column count - 7

    Column Width 0";2";5.0299";0";0";0";0"

    Private Sub School_Name_AfterUpdate()
    Me.School_Address = Me.School_Name.Column(2)
    Me.School_Address.SetFocus
    Me.School_Address.Dropdown
    Me.School_City = Me.School_Name.Column(3)
    Me.School_City.SetFocus
    Me.School_City.Dropdown
    Me.School_State = Me.School_Name.Column(4)
    Me.School_State.SetFocus
    Me.School_State.Dropdown
    Me.School_Zip = Me.School_Name.Column(5)
    Me.School_Zip.SetFocus
    Me.School_Zip.Dropdown
    Me.SchoolId = Me.School_Name.Column(6)
    Me.SchoolId.SetFocus
    Me.SchoolId.Dropdown
    Me.School_Name.SetFocus
    End Sub
