I have a client seeking a Windows Software Installation Technican to:

•Work under the direction of a Team lead to follow defined upgrade procedures on customer production environments.
•Upgrade appointments will be scheduled for these individuals and they will be responsible for tasks include but not limited to;
oProviding excellent customer service
oCommunicating expectations to technical & non technical counterparts
oEnsuring all upgrade procedures are followed (backups, Server & Client program installations, and program testing).
•Additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements
•The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and feel comfortable working in a high-paced team environment.
•Must: possess excellent customer service skills
Must: have advanced troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
•Client: Windows 2000/XP/Vista
•Servers: Windows 2000/2003
•Proficient with many different types of network environments including Terminal Server, Peer-to-Peer, and dedicated server setups.
•Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity.
•Attention to detail
•Good communication Skills
•Quick Learner
•2 years of previous Customer Service experience.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Associates degree, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Length: contract position until March 31, 2010
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay Rate: $18.00
