    Unanswered: Suppress Write conflict

I have created a form which open up unique value. Some times there are two lines with same value (Which is ok) and I am updating my comments for both the lines.
    Here is what I do
    1. click on the line
    2. Open the form
    3. Enter my comments
    4. Save
    5. Click on Next record
    6. Enter my comments
    7. Save

this is when I get the Write conflict record popup window. I want seperate comments to show up. If I click yes then it overwrites the comments. which I dont want to happen. If I close the box then it is saves the information perfect.
    Please help

    Suppress Write conflict

You not saying everything, if I am not mistaken? Is the source data of the Form a Table or a Query? I think you are using a query with its source data links duplicates the sames record from the second table because of duplicate key values in the first table. That is why you are seeing the record twice and ending up with the write conflict condition. In such sitauations you will not be allowed to edit these records at all.

Any way review your Form's data source. (Learn MS-Access Tips & Tricks)
