    Unanswered: 30081 Communication Error

    Hello,
    Installed new DB2 V9.1 on a new DB2 system on zos 1.9 lpar. Unable to connect to remote DB2(Linux) systems.
    Defined Dbtest on location table, ping to ip for dbtest is responding, but from spufi, get -30081

    Any ideas?

    Yes, a few:

    - target instance is not running
    - target instance's communication parameters are configured incorrectly
    - you are specifying an incorrect port number
    - a firewall prevents communications on a configured port
    - etc.
